Living and adapting in this world is a complex and ever-changing role, that is often filled with anxiety, and sometimes change and trauma that are overwhelming. I strive to help people navigate the transitions, meet their family’s needs, and understand their own strengths and weaknesses better so that they feel more confident and capable.
I believe that it is my job to connect with the client and understand the world as they see it, so that I can use my expertise to help them better navigate their circumstances and make choices that move toward their desired outcomes. This comes from our work as partners - during evaluations as well as in therapy - and I strive to collaborate and celebrate the superpowers that each person brings.
I also spend my time traveling the world and learning about different cultures. I love seeing the universal similarities in humans and families, and trying new foods.I enjoy horseback riding, watching movies and playing board games.
